Why I Started My Travel Blog?

Travel has always been more than just a hobby for me—it’s a passion, an escape, and a way to connect with the world in ways I never imagined. The culture, the food, the people—everything about travel makes me feel alive. And that’s exactly why I decided to start The Unfinished Map. There’s still a lot more places to explore, hence the name 🙂

Before starting this blog, I was the go-to person whenever friends and family needed travel advice. “Where should I stay in Switzerland?” “What’s the best way to explore Italy on a budget?” “Any hidden gems in Europe?” I loved helping them plan their trips, and after countless recommendations, I realized—why not create a space where I can share these tips with everyone? That’s when the idea of The Unfinished Map was born.
